Motion and Design In Science CLasses

We are know moving into testing forces, weight systems, kinetic and potential energy as we build cars made out of K'Nex. We have had two tasks so far. One was to work as a team to build a car in 20 minutes or less that would move 100 cm. We found great success with this objective. The next task asked us to create standard cars by following technical drawings. It was amazing all our cars turned out to be the same. Our cars will serve as a control as we begin to investigate physical science objectives. The attached pictures will show some of the fun we have had in science class.
