We have been so busy in math, science, and wellness. As you are fully aware, we had our BIG, GIGANTIC, HUGE unit tests on motion and design last week. I am pleased with the way the students are learning to study as I view the outcome of the tests. There were many successful scores that I attribute time taken for studying as well as applied knowledge. Great job.
In math, we are tackling long division with two digit divisors. We are also working on prime numbers, composite numbers, factors and divisibility rules. (Wow!!!! That sure is a mouthful to say all at one time!!!!!) Once again, we believe practice make permanence, and it is showing in the success rate we are finding in class.
In wellness, we are having a grand time creating one winter greeting for a past educational person who touched our lives. The cards are so endearing and are turning out so well. We recently videotaped skits that showed the steps to conflict resolution. We had a great time writing, producing, and sharing our work. Look for the videos to be downloaded on our blog.
One more week of hard week this week and we will celebrate the winter season next week. Great job tackling all these objectives during such a busy time Team Barracuda.
